Green Garden Compost

The use of compost re-supplies depleted nutrients and humic acids to soil.  In addition, it helps restore soil structure and natural soil biology and thus produces a living soil.  As a result plants are better able to ward off disease and pests and will have elevated plant mineralization.  Green Garden Compost is created from natural processes and contains nutrients to feed your crop.  The principal ingredients are recycled municipal green waste and dairy manure.  During the formulation process, the composted is heated to 160 degrees through thorough blending with a specialized turner.  This assures that weed seeds and pathogens are killed.  Several weeks of curing follow the cooling off process, assuring a quality finished product.  Good quality finished compost should not have any recognizable ingredients except small sticks, for aeration, and should have an earthy aroma. Green Garden Compost is used to: Help fight soil born diseases; Reduce compaction in fine textured soils, reduce leaching enabling soil to keep nutrients longer; increase water holding capacity in soils.
